1. GMA 7’s medical teleserye starring Jillian Ward and Carmina Villaruel, Abot kamay na pangarap, is the top trending topic for the month of December. This video from GMA Drama’s page gained the top engaging post with 5.6 million views since December 14, 2022.

The teleserye has consistently topped the trending keywords since its launch and has engaged the audience with its intensely produced dramatic scenes. Abot Kamay na Pangarap was also on the top 3 trending topics for November.
2. Catholic/Advent/Quiapo Church were December’s second top trending keywords. Consistently on top is the Quiapo Church, Facebook Church being one of the influencers. Their posts on online live masses across platforms effectively catch the attention of Catholic viewers. The Catholic church pivoted to online masses due to Covid-19 protocols but continued the trend with online masses and teachings until now that large group events are allowed. 3. K-Pop Superstars BTS, Blackpink, and Enhypen are slowly climbing up the trending charts.
Colossal boyband BTS led the trending topics for the K-Pop category. For the month of December, BTS posts spiked on December 13, which is the day Kim Seokjin entered the military. This photo of Kim Seokjin after the rest of BTS sent him off to the military got the highest BTS engagement for the month. BTS ARMY wished Jin well in the post’s comments and shares.

Alongside the K-Pop category is girl group global superstar and top K-Pop girl group Blackpink. Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rose trended for the post on their upcoming world tour in Asia, including their concert at the Philippine Arena on March 25 and 26. Blackpink also achieved the title Entertainment of the Year (2022) from Time Magazine.

Bubbling under the K-Pop trending topics is the fourth-generation boy group, Enhypen. Enhypen concluded its fan meet at the Araneta Coliseum on December 3. The top post for Enhypen, with more than 25,000 engagement scores, is announcing an additional day for their concert in February this year. It was reported that more than 500,000 fans tried to score tickets for their scheduled date on February 4 and 5. The additional day is set on February 3. 4. OPM P-Pop Leaders and Rock Legend kept fans engaged at number 4
SB19. P-Pop leader SB19, who recently went on tour, makes it at number 7 about their post on Spotify Wrapped, where they had 59.1 million streams and 3.9 million listeners from 179 countries.
