With stunning development in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), the National University (NU) Pep Squad has redeemed the Cheerdance crown and its 7th title after an astounding performance during the UAAP Season 85 Cheerdance Competition in MOA Arena.
With seven (7) wins, NU is just one championship away from joining the University of the Philippines and the University of Santo Tomas of holding eight (8) crown wins.
With coach Ghicka Bernabe on the side and guiding the team for 12 years, NU Pep Squad executed breathtaking stunts and lines, wore colorful outfits, and ended its routine in a Zumba session. Refreshing and exciting!
Bernabe may have announced her retirement as she is getting married soon, but with the skills and talents NU have, they will surely go a long way.
You can even totally agree that NU has finally broken out of its leash, with its power and discipline to reclaim the crown and fight for various titles, including women’s basketball and now the cheer dance competition.
In the UAAP women’s basketball championship, NU Lady Bulldogs mounted its most significant lead to La Salle Lady Archers. Their latest 7th straight wins record tied the University of the Philippines as the 3rd winningest UAAP women’s basketball team.

The collegiate varsity team brought their best stamina in basketball, best stunts, and dance ensembles to the arena while bringing pride to their University that changed their life. #
