The renowned gymnast and double Olympic gold medalist, Carlos Yulo, revealed his upcoming competitive schedule for the following year. During a visit to an ice cream company in Malvar, Batangas, Yulo announced his participation in three major events: the Asian Championships, the World Championships, and the Southeast Asian Games.
As a token of appreciation for his outstanding achievements, the company presented Yulo with a significant cash prize and a year’s supply of ice cream. Joining Yulo on this special occasion were fellow Olympians Nesthy Petecio and Eumir Marcial, along with the president of the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines, Cynthia Carrion.
Petecio, who earned a bronze medal in boxing, was also recognized with a cash reward. Marcial, too, was honored for his remarkable accomplishments. While Yulo chose to take a well-deserved break after his Olympic triumphs in Paris, he indicated his plans to resume training around November. He shared that he would be ramping up his training regimen in January 2025, participating in various training camps.
