Top Five 4th Generation Kpop Boy Groups
The Hallyu wave’s influence towards the music scene remains strong among Filipino Kpop boy group fans. Despite a couple of Filipinos’ criticisms on the visuals and performances of boy groups, their local fan bases are still growing rapidly. Based on the data based on engagement scores from Facebook and compiled by Blueprint.PH , these are top five (5) fourth generation kpop kings of the stage among Filipino stans.
1. Enhyphen
Enhypen occupies the first spot among the trending fourth generation boy groups. Coming from a reality show called I-LAND, these boys officially debuted as a septet under Belift Entertainment last November 2020 with album “Border: Day One”. The latest comebacks the group has for this year is their “Manifesto: Day One” album and their upcoming Japanese album which is to be released on October 26th. They also have a world tour entitled “Manifesto” which commenced in September 2022.
2. Tomorrow by Together
Tomorrow by Together or TXT owns the second place in the trending list. The fourth generation boy group debuted in March 2019 with EP “The Dream Chapter: Star” and peaked at No.1 on both the Gaon Album Chart and Billboard World Albums Chart. Their mini album “Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” also spent eight consecutive weeks on Billboard 200. The group’s latest comeback is their Japanese single “Good Boy Gone Bad” which was released in May 2022, amidst their “Act: Love Sick” world tour which started in July. TXT performed in a sold-out concert in the MOA Arena on October 27 and 28.
3. Stray Kids
Stray Kids is at third place among the most trending boy groups of the fourth generation. Debuting with the album “I Am Not”, these artists definitely came a long way, achieving 37 wins and 84 nominations from various award-giving bodies. “MAXIDENT” is their latest comeback album that’s released on October 7th of this year, following the conclusion of their world tour “MANIAC” in September.

4. ATEEZ
Ateez owns the fourth spot in the trending list. This fourth generation boy group’s journey started last October 2018 with debut EP “Treasure EP.1: All To Zero”. In just four years of activity, they already won various awards like the Worldwide Fan’s Choice award at MAMA 2019-2020, a Bonsang at the 4th TFMA and another Bonsang at the 30th-31st Seoul Music Awards. The boys also recently released their comeback album “THE WORLD EP.1: MOVEMENT” last July 29th. This was followed by the announcement of their second world tour, “THE FELLOWSHIP: BREAK THE WALL”, which will kick-off in Seoul on October 29th-30th.
5. THE BOYZ
The Boyz is the fifth among the rising boy groups of the fourth generation. They debuted with an EP entitled “The First” last December 2017. The group recently released their seventh mini album “WHISPER” on August 16th, nine months after its predecessor. They are also currently doing performances for their “The B-Zone” world tour which started last May 29th of this year.
