Fans of Pokemon GO have been hoping for a way to play cooperatively with their friends for a long time.
There have been several attempts at creating communities within the game, however there is not a way to play cooperatively with friends currently within the app.
Pokemon GO has teased a new feature which will allow players to catch pokemon alongside their friends.
A new feature will let four people play Pokemon GO cooperatively

A recent tweet has increased anticipation for Pokemon GO’s rumoured Party Play feature.
The Pokemon GO Twitter account said: “#GOPartyPlay is coming soon, and you’re invited to #GOStartTheParty with us!” alongside a teaser video promoting the feature.
The feature was leaked in September, and will seemingly allow players to form parties of up to four trainers and earn bonuses for playing as a group.
While none of the information provided in the leak has been confirmed by Niantic, the datamined information suggests that players need to be near the party host to join, will be able to see other party members on the map, and can complete Party Challenges to earn rewards.
While some players are excited others are worried about the new feature
This is cool and all that but I still can’t successfully access the routes feature… I feel it would be beneficial to fix the previous update problems before rolling out a new one

While some players are excited at the prospect of the feature, others are concerned about it not working as intended.
Pokemon GO has an unfortunate history of implementing features which do not work or are buggy, particularly in relation to the Routes feature.
One Twitter user wrote: “Party play sounds great. Will it be the same flop as Routes? Thanks for the new options, but it would be better to fix the ones that are wrong in the game.”
“I’m super excited for this feature!! I just hope it actually works properly on release but I doubt it will sadly,” said another.
Other players are excited about the implementation of Party Play, and are hopeful that it will let them experience the game with their friends.
As Pokemon GO’s tweet was signed off with a rather cheeky “Stay tuned…” it is safe to say that we will likely be getting more information in the near future. Until then, a lot of what we know about Party Play is going to be limited to rumours and speculation.
