BTS served in looks and performance in their nearly decade-long career, but duty now calls them to serve their country in the military. Festa 2022 is truly one for the books, as it overwhelmed ARMYs and the world with the announcement of BTS’s temporary hiatus and their individualistic “Chapter 2”. ARMYs’ days have been filled with tears and sentiments since the Festa dinner, but as BTS said, “life goes on”.
Three down, four more heartbreaks, and momentary goodbyes to go! It’s inevitable. As an ARMY, myself, it pains me to see them leave, but fret not! I will be sharing my seven ways to cope with being a “military wife”.
ONE – Run a marathon with BTS in “RUN BTS!”
I gratefully spent Valentines 2023 with BTS when the last episode of RUN BTS! aired that day. This show has always been my weekly vitamin. Whenever I want to give up on a Monday, I tell myself, “There’s a new RUN episode tomorrow.”
Sadly, the program is also on hiatus with BTS and will be back in 2025. Though, as much as I’ll miss it, there are 165 episodes I can always revisit. Watch BTS fight zombies in Ep. 24. See them write lovely poems in Ep. 56. Enjoy their tier, Sky Castle acting in Eps. 79–80. Laugh amidst the chaos that is BTS in Eps. 126–127. The list goes on—go watch them on Weverse for free!
TWO – Travel with BTS in “Bon Voyage S1-S4”
BTS in foreign countries is nothing out of the ordinary; they’re global superstars! But leaving them to fend for themselves? Now that’s interesting!
It’s been a while since the last Bon Voyage so now’s a great time, more than ever, to binge-watch! Bask in the breath-taking scenery of Northern Europe, Hawaii, Malta, and New Zealand with BTS, your chaotic travel buddies. Bon voyage, Army!
THREE – Get some healing with BTS in “In The SOOP S1&;S2”
In The Soop served as a replacement for all the supposed face-to-face and out-of-the-country contents during the pandemic. Amidst the fear and uncertainty caused by COVID, this program became the healing both BTS and ARMYs needed.
Zone out with Bangtan in your own safe space and find solitude in the intimacy of the show—watch both seasons now; you deserve it!
FOUR – Sing-along with BTS and your co-ARMYs in various concert contents
Whether it be an in-person or an online concert, BTS never disappoints. Revel in their performance and stage presence in their filmed concerts.
Travel back in time and see young Bangtan own the stage in their Red Bullet, Epilogue On Stage, Wings and Love Yourself concerts. Scream your heart out again in their BangBangCon, MOTS ON:E, PTD and Yet To Come concerts.
What are you waiting for? Grab those ARMY Bombs, be a part of the purple ocean, and do the “wave” with fellow ARMYs in your own mini concert! Be careful of PCD though!
FIVE – Go behind-the-scenes with BTS in “Bangtan Bomb”
Don’t feel like watching long contents? I got you! Bangtan Bombs are a series of short behind-cam videos that you can watch in BTS’s YouTube channel for FREE!
Get to know goofy and chaotic BTS off-stage, and let your imagination soar through an intimate, first-person POV. Thank me later.
SIX – Enter the next chapter with BTS
The supergroup took a break, but SEVEN solo artists emerged – Chapter 2 is all about individual projects, after all! Five albums and 1 single thus far have been unveiled, and we’re down to the last: Jungkook’s “Golden” coming on November 3rd.
It had been such an eventful new chapter. Each album release shows a new side to the members that even ARMYs don’t know of. Our months are filled with various individual content that we can’t even find the time to do the six things above! Heck, we can’t even cry during the members’ departures anymore because we’re busy!
I guess they left us no choice but to indulge. So walk with BTS on this journey. Explore the individuality that they’re expressing.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday a week – one BTS member to STREAM and CHART each day of the week! We’re so booked that the next thing we know, it’s 2025 and OT7 are back with a new album!
SEVEN – Create a YOUniverse
As much as you’d want to focus on BTS, the boys would want you to focus on yourself too—they made the “LoveYourself” campaign for a reason! Learn Korean. Go on a trip. Do some Namjooning. Get a new hobby. Try to do better on your job. Have a makeover. Workout.
Take this time to find and build yourself. Become the better version of you, for you. Make BTS and yourself proud – we got this, ARMYs!
There’s a lot to do right? BTS will be back before we know it!
