Kapuso drama queen Bea Alonzo and veteran talent manager Lolit Solis have officially buried the hatchet and exchanged pleasantries after seeing each other for the first time following their controversial rift.

The meeting of the two happened at the star-studded grand birthday party of Beautederm CEO Rei Anicoche-Tan at the Luxent Hotel in Quezon City last Saturday.

The event was well-attended by the brand’s endorsers which includes Alonzo, Raver Cruz, Maja Salvador, Ysabel Ortega, Glydel Mercado, Maricel Morales, Sherilyn Reyes-Tan, Rochelle Barameda and KitKat. Meanwhile, members of the entertainment media were also in full force at the event, which is practically why Solis was also there.

Unknowing they would meet, the two, without hesitancy, came up to each other and traded good actuations seen by everyone present at the event.

Solis humbly admitted that her tirades to Alonzo were simply born of anger to someone “close” to the actress. Although the longtime talent handler did not drop any identity, many were convinced she was referring to Alonzo’s manager, Shirley Kuan who immediately came to her talent’s defense during the height of the issue.

“Ever since naman, hindi ako galit sa kanya. Kahit noon pa, sinasabi ko, kahit saan ko pa siya makita, magso-sorry ako,” she said.

“Talagang that time, pinaglaruan ko lang dahil naiirita ako sa isang taong malapit sa kanya,” Solis added.

Solis acknowledged that she has indeed wronged the actress and that she’s sincerely sorry.

“Oo, talagang apologetic ako talaga sa ka—-han ko, ‘di ba? Talagang sabi ko, ‘Bakit ko ba inaano itong si Bea e, hindi naman kami… (enemies).’ Ang ibig ko sabihin, hindi naman kami magka-close,” Solis continued.

When asked about her message to Solis, Alonzo said, “Merry Christmas, nagulat ako eh ngayon lang kami nag-meet sa personal.”

Solis again repeated her sincerity to Alonzo and said, “apologetic ako sa ka—-han ko sa kanya pero ‘yun nga magso-sorry ako at sincere ako doon sa sorry ko.”

Members of the entertainment media also asked the Lovers/Liars actress of her wish for the veteran talent handler.

“Nanay I wish you good health more than anything else,” Alonzo said.

This was reciprocated by Solis with “I wish you good life with Dominic.”

Bringing it back to where it started, Solis posted a photo of them together on Instagram and dedicated a post about their reconciliation.

What happened before?

In 2022, Solis broke out on social media throwing shade at Alonzo after the former burst out about not being invited to the actress’s launch as an endorser of the same brand. Solis alleged that her absence, along with two other writers on the media list, was supposedly the actress’ request.

After the incident, Solis further threw successive blows at Alonzo even pinning her against Kapuso primetime queen Marian Rivera.

Solis even made a swipe at the actress’ looks saying the One More Chance icon takes time in her make-up room to cover her “wrinkling” face and neck.

Alonzo however refused to answer Solis’ insinuations and simply wished her good health.
