Here’s your list of all upcoming Marvel shows in 2023, part 1 (January to June)- with some juicy details!

With the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, Marvel’s Phase Four came to a close this November. Starting February 2023, let’s see how Marvel kicks off Phase 5.

1. FEBRUARY 17: ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA

Summary: The film follows Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne, along with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) as they embark (or stuck?) on a new adventure in the Quantum Realm. They meet Kang, a major villain throughout the Multiverse Saga.

Look forward to: Will this be the big introduction of Kang? Is Cassie’s newfound desire to get a costume of her own also suggests an eventual Young Avengers outing? Whatever remains of Iron Man 3’s A.I.M.?

2. SOMETIME MARCH-JUNE: SECRET INVASION

Summary: The six-episode series follows a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years. The Disney+ miniseries stars stars Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, along with Ben Mendelsohn who will return as Talos, a Skrull general who first met Fury in Captain Marvel.

Look forward to: Newcomers to the MCU include Emilia Clarke as S.W.O.R.D commander Abigail Brand, Olivia Colman as agent Sonya Falsworth and Kingsley Ben-Adir as rebel Skrull leader Gravik.

3. MAY 5, 2023: GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3

Summary: As the guardians band together one last time to defend the galaxy, Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) leaves the Guardians vulnerable to other threats.

Look forward to: Will Poutler (remember that egg seen in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2) make his MCU debut in the film as the powerful Adam Warlock? What truly is Rocket’s origins?

4. JULY 28: THE MARVELS

Summary: The film will pick up after the events of Ms. Marvel‘s post-credits scene- in which an unexpected switching between Kamala and Captain Marvel occurred. We’ll be following Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani) and Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) as they confusingly switch places and search a way to stop the connection.

Look forward to: Park Seo Joon reportedly joined the production. Production began that August with Kamala’s family from Ms. Marvel joining the cast. Zawe Ashton also joined up as an unknown villain.
