Riot Games Adds Cheeky RRR Reference To Valorant, Delights Indian Players

If you have been playing Valorant for a while now, you might have realized that Riot Games is all about embracing memes and entertaining its player base. Riot has always made sure to incorporate its takes on these pop-culture references in Valorant and players thoroughly enjoy them. One of the many ways that Riot Games showcases these jokes and references is by incorporating them into sprays and other cosmetics in Valorant.

With the latest Valorant Episode 7 Act 3 which got released on 31st October, Riot Games has added a cheeky easter egg about RRR, an Indian Telugu-language epic period action drama film which gained worldwide recognition.

Fittingly, this RRR reference in Valorant involves Indian agent Harbor. Here’s all we know about the Harbor ‘Keep Your Paws Off‘ spray in Valorant Episode 7 Act 3 battle pass.

Valorant Keep Your Paws Off Spray Is an RRR Movie Reference

RRR is a Telugu-language big-budget movie directed by SS Rajamouli. This Indian action-adventure film became a worldwide phenomenon in 2022. This movie also generated buzz at the Academy Awards (Oscars 2023) after a song from the movie, Naatu Naatu, won best original song award.

The Paws Off Spray features Harbor and Skye’s Trailblazer, the Tasmanian tiger. In the spray, you will notice Harbor, in an attempt to juke the Tasmanian tiger, sliding and gliding underneath the beast. As a result, causing Skye’s pet to miss and jumps over him. This spray is featured in the latest battle pass for Valorant Episode 7 Act 3 and can be spotted in Tier 34 (Premium) rewards.

This is a direct reference to a memorable scene from the movie where the character Komaram Bheem ducks and jukes a huge Bengal tiger in the very same fashion.

It was a gripping shot from an amazing sequence of events from the RRR movie. Right before the interval, Komaram Bheem unleashes a herd of wild animals at a party being hosted by the British.

Twitter user Incorrect Valorant Quotes, who was one among the first ones to realize the reference, stated, “Also fitting that Harbor is directly referencing Bheem from the movie since Bheem also had the symbolic theme of Water just like Harbor who has Water powers.”

Notably, Riot Games continues to celebrate Harbor and the Indian Valorant community. On 26th October, Riot celebrated the one-year anniversary of Harbor by conducting a beach clean-up at Mahim beach in Mumbai, India.

According to a press release, the event was organized in partnership with Global Esports, and saw the participation of Indian creators and influencers including Binks, Pinkcess, CaspeR, SkRossi, Jimmy, Harsh, and others.
